These are very important shortcuts in Excel. Use them frequently. They work in all Excel versions that I know of. If you find it otherwise, let me know.
Ctrl+C = Copy
Ctrl+V = Paste
Ctrl+D = Copy Down
Ctrl+R = Copy Right
Ctrl+ Arrow = Fast Travel in direction of arrow
Shift + Arrow Keys, selection in the direction of arrow
Shift+Ctrl+Arrow, Select an entire range of data
